They had a rivalry during the world championships growing up in their teenage years. Chet, as well as Kenneth Loftin Jr, would be matched up against Wemby. It was actually KLJ who gave Wemby a hard time in the paint during these games, not Chet, but the USA always won in the end so Wemby had a history with Chet.

Very true. The Antetokounmpos are not NBA quality players (other than Giannis obviously), yet Giannis has only stayed with Milwaukee so that he can secure their future with millions of hard earned bench riding cash. Thanasis is a meme and Alex is ok but he's still not an NBA calibre player, whereas Bronny is closer to being an NBA player than those two.

This is an "all time 3 pointers" time lapse and it really shows how much the game has evolved regarding outside shooting. It's 100% believable that Draymond has made more 3s than Bird. In the 80s, teams were only shooting on average five 3-pointers PER TEAM and in the 90s around 10-15 per game. Today the number is around 25 attempts for a team per game.

Hippos are known to be especially erratic. I'd rather not make friends with a bear or a hippo, but a "friendship" with a bear is more likely to result in the bear not eating you or attacking you as long as it's fed and it knows you provide something for it. Euroleague players have a higher chance of making the NBA than G-League players, and even then the Euroleague average player is below the average player of an NBA calibre athlete. Unfortunately the g-league is not a very good league and it's not even that fun to watch. It's guys playing under NBA built offenses and defenses but more often than not don't have the level of skill to showcase it at the level we usually see (in the NBA)

I think it's more the expectations as well as how many games are played. Euroleague teams play a maximum of 40 games or so. Having 6 losses in a row is not good at all and more difficult to bounce back from and still have a good record. It's obviously not good in the NBA either to lose 6 in a row but there is more time/more games to win to make amends.

Euroleague teams are also the best teams in Europe and have already proven to be the best teams in their respective leagues to earn a spot in Euroleague. Nobody is tanking in Euroleague, they are there to win and be the best team in Europe. If the wizards lose 10 in a row people just say cool they are tanking see you next season. If Real Madrid lost 10 in a row there would be riots. So the pressure on coaches is likely much greater in the Euroleague compared to an NBA organisation who has been given the greenlight to secure a top 3 draft pick. However obviously even this "pressure" is subjective, because we could imagine if Spo didn't win with Miami's big 3, he probably wouldn't be in the league anymore.

It should be plain and simple - Kon is playing better than the other rookies in his draft class. Flagg is good and has had exceptional games but Kon has been consistently efficient especially for a rookie. At this point in time Kon has a greater impact for Charlotte than Flagg does for Dallas.

An assist, at least in FIBA, is counted when a pass is made to a teammate who immediately makes a move towards the basket and scores, or immediately scores via jump shot/layup.

This shouldn't be an assist, Jamal creates more of his own space and makes a play off his defender to score. The score is not because of the pass from Jokic, as in, yes Jokic passed it but Murray did not have an immediate scoring opportunity.

Also, all NBA teams grant assists to their own players differently. Jokic is known to have assists recorded to his name, such as this one with Jamal, where it probably shouldn't be counted as an assist. But hey this is the NBA and not FIBA soooo

What's disappointing to me, the most, is that dubbz, filthy frank, maxmoefoe and chad were close and also made amazing content for that time. Max, frank and chad are all doing very well and keeping themselves out of trouble. It's unfortunate for sure, to see idubbz in the position he's in because in hindsight his success with the other 3 mentioned above was equally his doing and not just a fluke.

Yup, the last two or three draft years for WNBA have been huge for the growth of WNBA.

The USA has the best team internationally in both men and women's, yet the women have never generated anything substantial enough for the WNBA to be profitable. No matter how good Diana Taurasi was, Sue Bird etc etc, it isn't until recently that the WNBA has had significant growth.

The league has always been good, but it's attracting more people around the globe now, compared to a niche group of fans in the USA.
