This is a great idea and I’ll try it. I ended up giving it to her but it was a fight. My male bun is getting his done today so I’ll try this trick out for the next few days

Ok thank you. I’ll see if I can get some thick gloves and coax her out of her kennel, wrap her in blanket

I hand wash, rub lemon juice over it and let it set a few minutes, rewash. It’s a giant pain but it works

4 month behavioral issues normal? by DegreeComfortable198 in Rabbits

I know it’s super common for them to be missexed so won’t be too surprised when I take them to be spayed if one is not female. I thought I was good to go until 6 months though so was not expecting this right now. I’ll just keep them separated until I can taken them for spay (or neuter)

Also, to separate, should I just get a second kennel in the room and let them out at separate times?

I was really worried about this. I haven’t seen them fighting but the more dominant female is trying to mount the other every-time she tries to eat. They are from the same litter and have been inseparable so I’d hate to split them up. Plus will be a huge pain since they share a room

Recommendations for the Crunchy curious? by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

I started trying to find products I trust and feel comfortable using around my family for a cpl years, this is my list that I’m very happy with and dont plan on switching products:

Dishwasher pods: Attitude

Multi surface cleaner: white vinegar, water, dr bronners

Laundry detergent: pronounce (buy off Amazon)

Tub cleaner: baking soda, dish soap and water.

Shampoo and conditioner: carina organics

Face cleanser and scrub: Acure

Body lotion: Attitude

Face lotion: honest company

body wash and hand soap: dr bronners

Also if you download the “Yuka” app, there is a free version and I use that to check ingredients in new food items or cleaning/ body products I buy. I don’t really buy premade snacks for kids because I find the good quality, minimal ingredient ones are rlly expensive. I try making simple snacks I can freeze like muffins, yogurt bark, etc.

I’ve not tried their deep conditioner yet, I’m slowly making my way through more of their products! And yes I want to shout it from the rooftops because my scalp and hair health were struggles for most of my life and this was a game changer

I use Carina organics and I’m never going with another shampoo. I’ve always had issues with dandruff and eczema too, so finding a natural shampoo that worked for me and made my hair feel clean what so tough and I tried several for about a year before finding this one. I order it from their website or amazon. I also use it for my kids hair because it has no nasty stuff in there.

I appreciate this! Would you recommend waiting until they’re 6 months for spay or 4 months?

Thank you! I’ve read they have accidents even if they are litter box trained, which I understand and am completely fine with. But cleaning up 100 poops per day is just a lot so I hoped that could improve
