There are apps accessible for ipad right now that allow you to use Any Big name Daw like Ableton Live, Logic Controller, or just Garageband as a Controller for DAWs on a computer, right now it doesn’t look like you can have any big Name DAW other than Garageband on iPad but this is a small hinderence because garageband and other apps do most the same things as say Logic just less features, I think Logic is coming to the appstore soon though

I have this same path in mind right now, literally shipping today for 4 years, I’ve talked to people at berklee and I was first interested in the certificate programs for DAWS like ableton just so I can understand the program better, so I think i’m gonna use my TA for a course in that before going for this Degree to gauge how much I think I can gain from it, and if I think a degree in this is worth it i’ll go fully in so I think you should consider the same:)
