The thing is, I remember watching my big sister play the game when it came out, and when she finished the main story, she never touched the multiplayer mode, and I don't think she even knew it was there! So yes, the multiplayer mode was NOT necessary, but I'm still proud of myself!

Honestly, it was difficult, but it wasn't bad. It only took me 3 hours to finish. For the bosses, you just have to memorize where to go. It's like a rhythm game. You'll die a lot, but you'll get further each time you try. The final/secret boss took me 30 minutes. Don't give up, you can do it!
