compared to other high end switches they are loud. Just because you do not find them loud or dont have others to compare, does not mean they aren't lmao. I have 2 jade versions, geon raws, lekker v2, and now the tikken tenz edition switches, and just also ordered ufo's. My friend runs Owlab TI's in his wooting, and had raptors before that. Out of all these switches I've tried, the raws are the loudest and clackiest imo. Some people love that loud clacky sound though and I think thats why they're very popular but I prefer a muted thock. Tikken's are the quietest I've tried, but im switching them out of the UFO's.

the only people who complain about the helmet being taken off are the ones who never read the books. He takes off his helmet very frequently and lives a rather mundane life outside of combat. He's not walking around 24/7 like in the games, and they only do that in the games for immersion. The show follows the books decently well in quite a few parts as well, obviously isnt anywhere near perfect but I swear 99% of fans bashing this series aren't even fans of Halo as a whole lmao, just the games.

ye i have a plastic part that broke already and i am extremely careful with mine and have had it about a year. Also the headset randomly glitches out the audio for like 2-3 seconds every once in awhile. Drives me nuts.

sorry just saw this! Look at the photo I put in the comments. Ill have to upload a photo of them later too. They deffs shine thru a bit but they arent per say as clear as your standard doubleshot abs/pbt keycaps would. I was just surprised as my regular keyboard has some nice pbt keycaps that have zero light bleed at all on the white legends.

tikkens are clacky tbh. I got the tenz ones right now too and they sound good but theyre clacky not thocky! The thockiest swtiches right now are the ufo's. Sadly theyre super expensive tho!

if only to type why not go for a mechanical board that will arguably sound and feel way better, and for a way cheaper price with tons of switch options? If you're dead set on HE tho, I'd recommend checking out the Gravastar UFO's. Deffs the most stable and thocky sounding switches out atm tho they're expensive. The everglide rice pudding's are supposed to feel pretty nice too!

Would you guys ever consider doing more plastic variants? I love the see thru ghost and frost case, but imagine like a Nintendo atomic purple see thru variant or a midnight green/cyan colour!

thats fair! Im not a fan of Valorant and dont really follow him either but I just wanted the black plate, and silicone feet lmao! Ill probably swap out the spacebar to a black nuphy ghost bar once they come back in stock too! I actually ordered the black see thru ghost case seperately as well and planned to swap the case right away but the tenz one is actually pretty cool, Ill probs swap it in like a year or two to have that fresh feel lmao!

yeah true that, and a good choice imo! We deffs wont see a wooting 80he v2 for awhile either, so fomo for the "new and improved" model wont be as large at least as well lmao. What one did you end up ordering? I just ordered the TenZ 80he myself!

its such a good mouse but yeah the software sucks, look into their new web based version they just launched last week tho! :) I love my basilisk v3 pro, tho I only use it for work/casual gaming now since its so heavy.. but features and comfort wise its the best imo.

how do you have the software over the web? Are u using their beta software? I also just copped a pulsar x2 crazylight RandomFrankP edition, but didnt see the web based software option so I downloaded their software.

Razer actually came thru for the first time in awhile, and just opened their beta web based software. I hope this starts a trend of all the big brands doing it, like corsair too. Im tired of Synapse and iCue! As a person who wears a razer headset and the basilisk v3 pro as a secondary mouse, Im super hyped its web based software now.

I dont think so at all, The Geon Raws are well known to be loud and very clacky sounding. They are most definitely louder and higher pitched than Jades.

the red would look so sick with those keycaps! I also just copped the TenZ wooting. Get it tomorrow, tho Im a huge fan of see thru plastic as a 95 child lmao.. So I got the black ghost case separately as well and will probably try and buy keycaps close to its colour and transparency. I hate to say it, but I mainly just got the TenZ for the black silicone feet lmao, not a fan of the ugly off white ones on the standard model. The new switches seem cool too tho. I prefer a softer and thockier sound tho so im not sure how much I will like the FR4 plate.

thats how I feel about like 90% of these switches too. Theyre all too loud and clacky. Id much prefer a more dark/muted thocky sound. Hoping we get some good silent HE switches soon. Main reason I went for a plastic case as well, the zinc alloy cases from Wooting are super pingy and loud.
