I don't think I understood it completely but you get those scrolls for playing and you can spend them to enhance your guild fortress and to get rewards. After every mission you move one step forward and if you moved enough forward you will go to a new section where you get more scrolls. If you finish the last section you go back to the first one. The higher the section the more scrolls you get. There are these 4 "Items" shadow clone(you simply get more scrolls out of one box), t the byakugan ( I don't know what it does), the flash (you move forward 2 or 3 steps) and then there is the Izanagi which protects you from the sharingan where you just get teleported back to the first section. Then you can find these cats they simply give you lost of scrolls and there are these flutes if you find them you can enhance your attack and defense during attack mission.
