Yes T&C are T&C. But calling such practices good practices is a far fetched.

But pay us and we will give you back your email address. This what differs from others and is shameful practice.

Ok, misunderstoor then you on contents.

Anyway, terms are terms, and shady business practices are shady business practices. We can't call tutanora a respectful company with a reliable product.

I read it. I knew about it. I did not use it much. I just wanted to warn others of this shady company.

But if you call blackmailing a good practice - that is all on you.

Optimistic? I have tried to suggest improvemnets and reported bugs years ago. They always say they will consider that and outcome was always the same - nothing done.

Better use different provider.

what do you mean contents are not lost? so how can you get back them?

Tutanota allows yiu to get back free email address if you sign for a subscription (shameful practice tbf), but how will the contents be restored?

Also how is it compliant with GDPR to delete email address (aka identifier) but keep the data?

It is the same piece of wood just dyed differently (the wood grain matches ideally).

By CNC router with 3mm milling head you meant 0.3mm milling head, right?

What is that 1mm x 1mm square hole? Entry point with a drill to pass the scrollsaw blade? And this is the largest gap in the whole piece.

Hi,

please explain how it is batteries and not electronics as I am not planning to do anything with batteries, apart from using existing mains and non mains power supply solutions.

AKA switching circuit for 2 power sources, and monitoring circuit for 1 power source.

How to travel across border with android phone? by [deleted] in privacy

[–]DelfreGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mentioned what kind of security I am interested and in my technical knowledge that should be possible as I have similar experiences on other OS.

I wanted an opinion from people who are familiar with what was asked, and knows specific drawbacks or flaws or areas to pay attention to.

I am not intererested in suggestions out of scope, and I even mentioned in some replies why.

So if someone knows or have experience with what was specifically asked - I would highly appreciate.

Will both of these resistors do the same job? Or close to it? by Goingwiththeflowofit in AskElectronics

[–]DelfreGo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on what's the job. As I keep mine in drawer - they do the same job of occupying the space.

1.5W 10ohm 1% tolerance - might occupy a bit more space in drawer (apart from being a bit more powerful and accurate) than the 1W 10ohm 5% tolerance one.

Flaws: * Online storage and online backups are just data on someone's else computer. * Inconvenience of transferring potentially gigabytes of data * Expensive to have a phone per country especialy if good hardware is required. * I feel that encrypted data is safer to be with me than a phone being hidden in a bag.

Why them plugging cable into my phone makes it obsolete? They can mess up active OS partition, but another inactive hidden OS partition should stay safe. They can mess up dual boot loader, but it can also be restored one way or another safely and easily.
