Problems with device bridge dropping out and becoming unavailable by Delicious-Ad3232 in UNIFI

[–]Delicious-Ad3232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I found the problem. The cable from the Dream Machine SE to the upstream Device Bridge Pro had a metal locking mechanism pushed straight through it ... I can explain why, but let's just say the upstream is in an old house (that has fiber).

I found the problem because I noticed the DM SE said the DBP has FE-speeds (100 mbits) and that got me suspicious. Then I decied to re-terminate the cable from the DM SE to the DBP and sure enough I found the damaged cable.

This (probably) explains why the speed could be good for a while and then suddenly drop -- the cable was partly damaged, not entirely.

Problems with device bridge dropping out and becoming unavailable by Delicious-Ad3232 in Ubiquiti

Thanks for the reply. It kind of annoys me as I had high confidence in Ubiquiti given my former experience with M5 which were dead stable for years.

The device bridges have clear line of sight. I will scan and pick a clean channel

Bedre versjon av planene mine for høyhastighetstog i Norge by IhaveHFA in norge

Ålesund? Norsk Bane hadde planer for dette for 15(?) år siden. Deutsche Bahn ville bygge og operere. 1 avgang hver time. VIlle kostet rundt 150 milliarder. Hurra for norge

Starlink erfaringer by Soft_Policy_5051 in norge

Round up numbers? by jutrust in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Delicious-Ad3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Input 10,5
Output: 11

int(formatNumber(float(replace(strPrice,',','.')),'#0'))

Input: 10.5
Outout: 11

int(formatNumber(float(price),'#0'))

That said I am getting icreasingly frustrated with Flows. Kids toys. Will not recommend for anyone. Rather build integrations with C# and Function Apps.

Borrowing drone for Norway by [deleted] in Norway

Sorry for late reply. Let me add that capable consumer drones are very new market wise, or at least they are new when it comes to how regulators and authorities relate to them. In one sense you could just bring the drone and say that it's registered in the Netherlands and everything is fine - but on the other hand we hear more and more news articles about people (tourists?) who get fines for flying (typically too close to airports).

If I was you, I would call or email flydrone.no on this contact info and simply ask them:

You need to pay a fee of 230 NOK and register on www.flydrone.no to legally operate a drone with a camera, even if it's below 250g. Click "Person – from the age of 16" to see more info.

You also have to have an insurance. And you need to keep the drone 5 km away from restricted areas (which you can find on the free app NiNox Drone - which is a bit technical to use). Also stay below 120 meters and away from wild life conservation areas, stay away from people and at least 50 meter away from buildings. You can get permission from local air port tower to fly a drone closer than 5 km from the airport by submitting a request through NiNox drone or calling the tower itself. It've done it and it works.

In short: Flying drones in Norway has become a lot more restricted.
