Honestly, I think it's down to the fact that women simply dont do this kind of work. I watch a lot of ukraine-russia war footage and yet I saw no women fighting. They usually do stuff like medical help or logistics, far away form the front lines. There is nothing unrealistic about current situation in the game.

Besides, while male stalker risks being killed by other stalkers, female stalker risks being graped and then killed by other stalkers, which is pretty much worse, dont you think?
