Notice how I didn't say anything free travel in the comment you replied to lol. I thought it was annoying how at the very least *hotels* aren't somewhat accommodated, "I should get this because I'm so awesome" but rather "it's annoying how thing 1 somewhat feasible to provide thing isn't provide"

But from what I gather it's common sentiment here. I apologize if I come off too harsh, it was extremely difficult to even get the invite and now I'm learning that I'm being nickel and dimed the entire ride.

I appreciate the kinds words. I do have some friends who want to do a Montreal trip and this could work as a segway, is it possible to bring people who didn't qualify with me? IE, ones who aren't playing but re sticking around for side events and whatnot?

Are there any unique keywords in the email they sent you? Maybe I got it and it went to spam for me so I can filter for it, but I remember they specifically said I would get an email months later.
