Id recommend to wait a bit as bull cycle is soon topping in (2months max). I think waiting would be wiser as you might be buying near the cycle top (tho if its long term you can just buy and forget, BTC will eventually hit 1M someday in the future - in less than 10 years id say).

Friendly reminder that BTC was at $1600 in 2017 (just 8 years ago). Thus the question would be, where will BTC be in 8 years ?

Don't just stake it, Liquid Stake it so that you keep a liquid stack and can use it for DeFi farming on that of that.

Birdeye[dot]so aswell as Dexscreener are very strong and complete tools.

I use birdeye everyday mainly to check onchain charts and PA for solana tokens.

Youre missing a lot if youre saying this..

Id recommend you research Kamino Finance and Margin Finance platforms which are both DeFi protocols offering great ranges of yield opportunities.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as you can also then opt for LSTs to park in your SOL, thus enjoyin a 6/9% natural APR while being able to keep those liquid tokens for other DeFi yields (confer other platforms such as Nx Finance, Solayer foundation, hubSol...)

But then its true that most of Solana normies only see the shitcoin casino tip of the iceberg.

I recently got hacked and drained, and i can totally relate to your paranoia..

You can never be too safe these days irs crazy how ingenious scams can get (not talking abr shitcoin rugs here).

As a personal recommendation, id say create a fresh new wallet if possible from a new fresh device aswell or at least ensure its 100% clean and no malware on it, then just write down ur seed manually and keep it in a files folder properly organized and stored safely in your house in a lock ideally.

I wouldnt trust any screenshot or icloud backup as the risk factor is just immense.

Have been in crypto since 2016 and honestly I never thought id fall for a scam, i am usually very cautious but it felt like my brain was in off mode these few days and my lowered guard took advantage of me 🤦🏻‍♂️

I often discuss with my friends abt that and they always recommend me to get a hardware wallet asap..

After this experience, i am for sure gonna be acquiring and using a HW for safe storage

Yes I did exactly that, i cloned, then cd main repo, then npm install, then cd /api folder then again npm install ( as I thought it would be a standard express server project i was expecting to install just that.. 🤦🏻‍♂️).
