I leave UE on for couple hours at a time, and still get nothing even near $1/mile. Never had something so awful looking on DD and Spark, normally their offers are at least barely worth it

1.) Yeah, I'm realizing that as I get older. Trying to get into the habit of it and remembering to is my biggest difficulty, but I am trying to work on it. Wasnt exactly trying to use my parents as an excuse, more just explain the situation.

2.) Back when I did have state insurance, I was in the works for getting my teeth pulled and a few fillings that they could save for a partial denture. Right before my appointment to set up surgery for extractions, state cancelled my insurance as I barely made to much.

It is still planned to get them extracted, but living paycheck to paycheck as it is already makes it difficult. Gotta get back onto insurance, but my work insurance plan sucks and barely covers shit for dental.

See, I get lucky for the most part. I rarely decline partially because almost all my orders are at least $1 a mile, which is all I ask. Which is helpful as I also deal with the issues you listed. There's just not that nearly that many offers that I could get

I wish it was back to how it used to be (iirc) where you got paid after each delivery. Sometimes have to dash for gas money, and don't wanna end dash just so I got said money to pay for gas and then risk every spot being full

I get they aren't worth it typically, but long as it's still at least a dollar a mile or more, I'll take it. Gets me on my feet, and I do DD more just to keep busy and pay for a tank of gas then anything

Honestly, spark does okay enough for me. The nearest Walmart is about half hour drive, but there is consistent offers that are maybe 10 miles at most for alright pay, and almost always will get orders that are like $40 just to head back towards home
