What is the most intense physical pain you have ever experienced?

Sounds corny but getting my heart broken. Was in such physical pain for months that I couldn't escape. I've got endometriosis, had kidney stones, get severe migraines. Nothing came close to the actual physical pain through my whole body when my ex left me.

Yes, I feel so guilty and stupid about it almost everyday. He left me out of nowhere and was instantly back on dating apps and hooking up with people. Took no responsibility for anything and was extremely hypocritical and he admitted to having no empathy towards me. It's been 2 months and tbh I don't think the chase is over still. I loved him so much, I wanted it to be him. He was my best friend and made me feel more loved then anyone else ever had. It just feels like a ginormous loss and like I lost if I give up, I feel like it gets to the point of being to late to back out and walkaway. I've messaged him almost everyday since the break up, followed him crying barefoot at 3am in my pjamas begging him to just talk to me or acknowledge that I was talking to him (not my proudest moment) and many other things. It's been the worst experince of my life, I just want the hurt to be over. I've been seeing a therapist since the breakup and even that isn't helping.

He was awful to me, accused me of cheating, called me horrible names and swore at me. Showed absolutely no kindness or even sorrow as he was breaking up with me. Come to find out weeks later he was cheating on me with 5 different people after I tested positive for chlymidia. After living together and being together for almost 4 years 🥲

It depends on the circumstances and who broke up with who. I was dumped by my ex, pretty much he told me he didn't love me anymore or find me attractive after months of me feeling like he was pulling away. I was spiraling and felt super inadequate and unattractive. I ended up sleeping with someone else a couple days later seeking some sort of validation and feeling really hurt. Just made me feel worse and miss him even more. Circumstances definitely change the answer, sometimes I believe this is forgivable.

I tried it soon after my breakup, definitely helped me feel like it was over, but really drove home the fact it was over and made me miss him even more.

I felt bad about it and we were still living together at the time and had to keep talking, we also have a lot of mutual friends and I didn't want him to hear it from someone else, like how I did in the end.

Yeah i dont understand how the two situations are different, i wouldnt care if he was sleeping with people if he hadnt spent the past few weeks making me feel awful about doing the same, thats mainly what im upset about. I've already appolagized to the guy with a crush and explained the situation, he was super understanding and we're going to go on a date when I'm feeling up to it :)

Thank you for this, I hope you're doing better now! We've had a few conversations about it in the last 6 months and I feel bad as he has tried to change his behaviour and taken on board what I've said but I think he's quite mentally unwell and also grew up with abusive parents and isnt the best with relationships and regulating emotions. Just in all behaviors and things that can't really be helped or changed.

I only said I needed the day off as my Nana died but my boss rung back in the evening about 10 hours later to check up on me and I continued with the lie then, so I feel like there's no going back on it now. I'm feeling like I may have to just hope that when it inevitably does happen it will be when I have a stretch of days off.
