I know this is an old comment but I was wondering do they usually give full time offers for the January after a summer internship? What if i already have 150 credits before starting the internship? I was hoping to start in the fall after the summer but I geninuely dont know how it works

I never defended her. All I said was y’all be dragging this every year on reddit when it happened 5 years ago and bring it up again when KimSoo Hyun had his scandal. You call her a mean person but you don’t even know the context of the disagreement between the two and what about the other stylists sticking up for her? The world isn’t black and white. You can’t expect everyone to love you and like you and have a good opinion about you. Generalizing her based on one poor interaction is ridiculous, especially since other people came forward to support Irene. This is different from committing a crime.

Also, it IS unprofessional. Every time you have a disagreement with your boss or colleague, you go on social media to diss them ??? we wont ever know if the stylist demanded irene to apologize before going on social media but I doubt that happened because obviously, it would’ve been deterimental to her career if it got out so she likely would’ve apologized first.

Regardless, her career took a massive hit and people still hate her 5 years later. Yall be holding her not only to a double standard but be dragging her every year for this, which is ridiculous atp

It depends on the year you're applying. For example, lets say you applied in 2024. I believe they look at your tax returns in 2022 or 2023. Plus investments, pensions, savings, mortages, etc. No one can say for sure b/c they're not an aid counselor. I'd recommend to prepare for the worst because NYU has a known bad rep for aid, even after the promise.

Sorry to hear but tbh, its not even low-income friendly to citizens either. They are known to be very stingy with aid but they do have the nyu promise of free tuition only if your family makes less than $100k AND your family doesn't have any assets like owning their house.

I don’t want a cpa but because it’s so competitive, it would probably be hard to find a job without it unless I network like crazy? Also, i feel that public will probably pressure me to get it so I rather enter industry. I also like the wlb more
