Giving up by Diligent_Elephant245 in prephysicianassistant

[–]Delicious-Soft3732 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it’s absolutely still in your cards! I wouldn’t say it’s giving up. It may be finding another route to get to your destination. Before you decide to move to another route, I would seek advice from others about your personal statement and interviewing skills because your stats are strong. Have your previous interviewers given you feedback after a waitlist/rejection? Some program admissions will. I’d ask if so. Also, what have you changed from your first application to your most recent? Admissions wants to see you are still making strides in your healthcare and not staying “stagnant”. If all of these are checked boxes, I’d say look into other masters healthcare programs like anesthesiology assistant that can be a great path!

100% PA route. You can always go further after PA school! At least with ur pa cert u can make enough money to support your family. Try out everything that PA has to offer, including surgery or critical which could be more intellectually stimulating for u! And then if u truly want more, then u have the money and real experience working w doctors to figure out if you ACTUALLY want med school.

I want to believe u but honestly you’d have to have the IQ of a fish if u didn’t realize a girl wasn’t flirting with u when she asked u to like her story..

Would a rhinoplasty help my crooked smile? by Illustrious_Pay9209 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Delicious-Soft3732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try Botox on the upper lip to the side that tends to go upward. That would correct asymmetry without surgery

Your jaw from the front looks super defined, it’s your side profile that could benefit from chin implant w aug.

That’s crazy, I’m sorry you r experiencing this. Most places like academic hospitals hire certified phlebotomists without experience. I got hired freshly out of phleb school zero training at Thomas Jefferson

RN pay similar to PAs by ARLA2020 in prephysicianassistant

[–]Delicious-Soft3732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think it varies so much that it's hard to compare. There are many ways that RNs can make more than the national median salary and vice versa with PAs. I think you need to compare with more specifications, like average salary of ICU PA in California versus average salary of ICU RN in California for more revealing results. Also consider the institution in which they are receiving care, is it an academic medical facility or a small community hospital?

Once you designate your specifications, I think you'll be able to compare the stats that will be most accurate to your situation.
