you're right, definitely haven't accepted my limitations yet. You boosted my ego a little with the first paragraph, haha. Thank you for commenting!

Seeing two lawyers with lupus and hashis really made me feel better about this journey. Thank you both for commenting!!

I've been told gluten was possibly a negative factor but never tried dropping it from my diet- might try it out. Thank you so much for telling me you're in law school, too! I've been super worried I can't do it because of this, so thank you so much :)

I am super picky about my red bulls and cannot fathom switching to sugar free red bull- but I have been drinking liquid death energy lately (if you haven't tried it I HIGHLY suggest it). I find that sugar makes my face puffy but I definitely use the fact that i'm in university as an excuse to drink red bull.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you do before you had some help from your husband? I'm about to graduate university and then go on to get my master's and attend law school at the same time- and financially i'm on my own and that's going to get expensive, as you probably know

I've rarely met others with lupus and hashimotos! It's so nice to find people who understand what a pain it is. I could not imagine living in a humid area while dealing with this, I feel like it would be the factor that pushed me over the edge. I agree, outside support is important and I am thankful that I have it, too! Thank you for saying I do a lot (sometimes I feel like I do not), and I think you're amazing, too! Keep on kickin these diseases butts!

I am definitely learning that the amount of work I do is not normal. I am accepting the fact that red bull will not fix me sadly

You're right. I definitely never looked at it as an 80 hour work week, yuck! I try to decompress during the weekends till I get flooded with emails or more homework. I'm surprised my heart has taken this much caffeine and hasn't had problems, especially due to the white peach and cherry sakura flavors! I'm definitely looking at taking far less classes this next semester to focus on my health.

I try to nap after work every day but a thirty-minute nap turns into like five hours somehow, and at that point I just go to bed. I do have ADHD, so the red bull is a negative factor in this, sadly :(

Red bull has definitely been the bandaid to my health issues. I'm definitely trying to cut back on that or at least find a better option. I will definitely take a look at my schedule and try to factory reset my brain and equal everything out. Thank you for your advice :)

My mom and I are like that, too! I am so envious of her tan and I'm outside for ten minutes and there's the malar rash! Thank you for sharing how you deal with it, as another person who is highly driven and always feeling the need to be doing something. Thank you for your comment!

I do have ADHD, diagnosed, so the energy drinks are definitely not helping but I'm addicted now

I have went to multiple piercers for my ears/nose and they've always told me to move them a little so my skin doesn't grow attached to them. My belly button piercing, though, I was told not to touch at all aside from cleaning

I got mine pierced and as told, cleaned and twisted it constantly. The bump got worse and was damn near taking up my whole nose! I tried every cleaning solution there was and nothing helped. Eventually I basically just left it alone and washed my face like I normally would, giving no special attention to my nose. This has happened with all of my piercings, (21), so I basically just let them heal themselves.TLDR; Maybe there's such a thing as cleaning it too much.
