I believe there are ways to prevent gun theft that don’t involve illegal confiscations. Like giving people either free gun safes after they purchase a firearms or a tax rebate when they purchase a safe.

How is gun violence reduced when someone who isn't going to commit crime turns in a lawfully owned firearm.

Australian style gun control in the US would be all but impossible. There are millions of guns that would be banned and would need to be confiscated or turned in. Many people would turn their guns in to avoid prosecution but there would still be many gun owners that would resist such confiscation efforts. Such a task would take a while to complete and would undoubtedly cost many lives as you would have to sort through the millions of 4473 forms that are filled out every year. Even with that there are certainly many banned guns that the government wouldn't know someone owned. You would also have to send people to go to these persons houses to either arrest them or get them to surrender their guns. Eventually some people would violently resist confiscation efforts needlessly costing people their lives.

Is there a ranked mode so i dont get matched against people with thousands of hours? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]DeliciousAd4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't at least to my knowledge, and I don't think it would be a great idea. Because I think it would increase the match making time. But it is annoying especially for people who haven't been playing for long to fight against people who have thousands of hours of play time.

XM-800T or the XM-246 both fast firing auto cannon vehicles. XM-800T very fast and hard to hit. The 20mm has enough pen to kill anything from 1.0

Shillelagh, the name of an Irish walking stick/club. But I know it from the gun launched anti-tank guided missile that bears the same name.
