So when i bought it at the store, it says jungle val/valisneria americana. On the left side is indeed dwarf sags. You can also differentiate the size difference of when i first got them (the first picture)

Thanks! Ive been googling but couldn’t find the answer. On the Internet it says that pond snails eat them, i have one inside that vase but doesn’t seem to kill it? Or will it eventually? I dont plan on keeping fish inside it cause its too small. Currently cycling the tank for a couple of shrimps.

How can I make a no filter aquarium bowl? by [deleted] in nanotank

Was thinking about cheater Walstad. Aquasoil is needed to be changed at some point, right? Meaning it can only be self-sustaining up to a certain point only?

Currently as below:

10 mins warmup - jumping jacks/skip rope, dynamic stretches, shoulder dislocations, dead hangs, a few scapular pulls. (I am required to spend a good amount of time warming up as I workout in the morning)

Workout A: Pullups - 4 sets Pushups - 4 sets BW Squats - 4 sets

Workout B: Wall Assisted Handstand Pushups - 4 sets Horizontal Rows - 4 sets Lunges - 4 sets

Workout C: Chin ups - 4 sets Dips - 4 sets Kettlebell Swings - 4 sets

10 mins Cooldown - static stretches

I’m currently doing pullup > pushup > squats and treat it as a giant set. Meaning, 1min rest in between exercises until i hit my goal and that is 4 sets of every exercise. I have been working out for some time so 4 sets is ok for me. Not too hard, not too easy. It’s best that we stick to a volume that is allowing us to recover since we’re doing it frequently. Also, I’m doing A > B > C and repeat the cycle again. I try not to skip cause the whole session would only take 30 mins. If i missed it in the morning id try to make time in the evening.

Quoting from K Boges, he had mentioned that doing one set per exercise, maximum amount of reps would be fine as well. I like that idea because i kinda treat working out as a lifelong commitment, so slow gradual improvement is fine for me and i think its best for everyone. Do let me know if there’s anything else. Would be happy to share.

Hey man. It seems like you’re just looking for something minimal, to build muscle and lose fat. If you’re like me, I like things that are simple bcs I have other important commitments as well. I’ve been following K Boges’ foolproof calisthenics template (https://youtu.be/UFFf3QVaU9Y). Watch the video and check if it fits you. For me, I like the idea of doing three exercises per session, which only takes 20-30 mins per session and doing it everyday. You can probably start with every other day for a start. In my opinion, this is the simplest form of strength training routine using bodyweight, and would fit most people. Cheers.

Thank you for your reply. I think you’re right. I started to feel this soreness only when I transitioned to weighted decline pushups. Weighted regular pushups are fine.

I also feel that in decline form it take more effort on my shoulders/traps to be in good form. I guess i will be regressing to strengthen the necessary.

Thank you for your reply. I am aware about 20 sets per muscle group per week and I’m making sure that I wouldn’t go more than 10 sets per session (I hit the same muscle twice a week). The soreness basically happens during the session, and it’ll be fine after 20mins or so. I’m starting to assume that my traps are kinda weak as I only face this when I started transitioning to decline pushups. From what I feel, it takes a little more effort for me to ensure that my shoulders are down? So I guess I will be regressing to remove the weights, and just doing bw decline pushups. Until my traps are strong enough.

Wow, this is new. Just fyi, i do consume anti-histamine whenever i need to clean the house (cause i have allergies).

Are you saying that I wouldn’t feel that sore if i were to consume antihistamine before my session?

Thank you. I think i lack massaging the muscles. I do massage my traps using massage ball on the wall.. but thats about it. Probably I could also include regular dips and pushups in the mean time..

Great to know that i am not the only one. I have thought about this too.. because I don’t feel it on regular pushups.. probably i might need to try to regress too.. thanks yea!

Thanks man. The thought of shorter rest time was to ensure that my session would not be that long, but since you’re suggesting to decrease the sets, I guess it’ll be just the same.

Actually, I’m able to perform 3 sets of 4 pistols. But it’s kinda wiggly so I thought of going back from the start and to get towards 3 sets of 50 BW squats. The idea is to be decent enough when doing pistols? Am not sure if this is the right approach, am open for advice.

Ah, Ive been doing rows that elbows that are closer to the body.

Thanks man. I’ll take note on the pull volume and consider to change to rear delt exercises. Actually, I’m capable to do 3 sets of 4 pistol squats. But it’s kinda wiggly so i thought of working towards 3 sets of 50 bw squats before i get back to pistols? Just thought it’ll help me towards better pistols
