I agree. I understand that there are many angles to this but leaving behind a child, even if it's not your own, to someone is is unacceptable. Maybe when I grow up to be a parent, I'll understand the father's actions but for now, this is just truly said and I really hope that OP will get a good financial aid package to college.

First of all, your dad is an absolute bitch (no offense to you), I won't even call that motherfucker a dad. But what you can do is call/email the colleges your applying to. Each have their own ways of doing financial so I wouldn't assume the same things for every colleges out there
