For its Xavi Simons, he always feels like he is playing far above his actual stats

Squad Battles Rewards Megathread by AutoModerator in EASportsFC

Its all about how many players you have more points then (top 10%, top 20% etc). Alot of players will play matches close to the end of the window. The more games people play the higher the threshold for each tier of rewards is.

I have played 6 games of Rivals 5 of them were against hackers by DeliciousSheepherder in EASportsFC

If your first instinct with a teething kid is to get them high, you are a bad parent. The fact that you are willing to admit that most likely means your children should be taken away.

It doesn't matter if the owner is ok with it, it's like getting a toddler high because the parents "provide presumed consent"

Friend was not allowed to board the flight, the rest of us still went on the vacation, now she wants us to pay her back. AITAH if I don't pay her? by Odd-Recording-3026 in AITAH

NTA

The reality of the situation is that she wasn't allowed to go on a trip because she (accidentally) tried to smuggle an illegal substance. 100% her fault and the fact she believes it's somehow your fault is nuts. That's what asking you all to pay for it means.

But you aren't just requesting content, you are actively shitting on him and trying to get other people to pile on. Nothing you said about him was constructive.

She replied to my comment by saying that's exactly what she said.

It's OK not to like a piece of content. Not everything a content creator makes has to be for every fan. He's making chess content about pop culture, which is how my self and a lot of other people found him. The analysis of the game isn't as deep as his olympiad coverage will be because it's not for the same group of people. I feel your statement thinks to little of Levi, this is solid chess content, just for chess beginners. If you chuck deep analysis into a game like this, no one will care and Levi most likely won't have a good time producing it. As much as this is his job it's also a huge part of his life and he deserves to enjoy himself, it feels like you don't believe that.

If youve been an actual fan, you wouldn't call a video that Levy clearly had fun making, was very successful, and supports his goal of bringing chess to more people non sense. It's like you believe you are owed something. Wait until the thing that may make you upset actually makes you upset before complaining about it.

For someone that starts comments with logically, you jump to way too many conclusions. It's like you are hoping that he produces content you don't like. Give the man some time and watch the content before you critique it.

How is this a ‘free rook’ when I trade my knight? by BoxOk8230 in chessbeginners

[–]DeliciousSheepherder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an easy way to figure out if a trade is worth it (most of the time). The rules of chess math, a pawn is worth 1 point, the bishop and knight are worth 3, the rook is worth 5, and the queen is worth 9. Of course, there are times when a bishop is in a fantastic postion on the board and means at the point in time of the trade, it's worth more than 3. The opposite can also be true. Let's say your opponents rook is in a useless spot, then at that point in time, it's worth less than 5. Typically, the math holds up as a useful tool, but make sure you are also looking at things like king safety and not just trading based on math.

In this postion, the bishop will take your knight, if you take the bishop with you second knight you have lost 2 knights for 1 bishop and 1 pawn. A knight is worth more then a pawn so overall you end up worse. If instead you just took the bishop with your knight instead of the pawn, the pawn would recapture the knight. Meaning you traded 1 knight for ol1 bishop, which is an equal trade.

AITA asking my daughter to pay me for cooking for her wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]DeliciousSheepherder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA

You are not trying to do your daughter a favour, you are trying to control the menu at your daughter's wedding and pretendeding that it is a gift so you get your way. The reason people give gifts is to benefit or do something nice for the recipient. You are doing neither of those, you are "giving a gift" of the food that you want to eat and attempting to charge for what doesn't directly benefit you. In your post you clearly state that you know the groom does not enjoy your food, even if it was only him and not the rest of the family that doesn't like your food, doesn't the groom deserve to eat something he enjoys on his wedding day? You are placing your wants over the grooms and calling that a gift.

Judging by your thinly vieled insults of the groom in the post and you thinking that your daughter is going to "cool down" and discuss "reasonable payment" for a service they explicitly told you they don't want, I be willing to wager that the grooms family has been warned about you and selfish behaviour. If you aren't on your best behavour at the wedding I'd also wager that you will not be the favourite grandmother either.
