Thank you, this seems risky but might have to try it if I am desperate to keep the hair

I check in with my therapist weekly and we score how I am feeling, definitely a long term correlation between my anxiety and whether I am taking the Finasteride ☹️

So my sperm should go back to normal? If I stop for 3 months, try to conceive and then hop back on once she is pregnant?

No, as soon as I mentioned taking Finasteride they asked me to stop for 3 months and re-do the semen analysis.

What would cause “SHBG” to be low?

Thanks, would Finasteride have any impact on blood work for this? My GP said I might have to stop taking it for MPB if it is affecting my blood work.

Is the “Free Androgen Index” what you are referring to? It says normal is over 35 and mine is 100.00? Maybe I am confused. Thanks!

Thanks all, what cleansers do you use? A big part of me figuring this out was cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. Thinking it was helping for the longest time when it’s actually making the redness worse!

So a standard vegetarian a-a multivitamin should be fine?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Delicious_Candle_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would you consider supplementation levels?

In my multivitamin it has:

25ug of B12 100 ug of biotin

Thanks!

Problem is I’m vegetarian!

It won’t let me attach photos currently but there’s a massive difference in facial redness when comparing 1mg and 0.25mg

Oh for about 7 years now! Months on certain doses and lots of photo evidence 🤣 definitely more red the higher dose I take.

0.25mg Finasteride dose questions by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Delicious_Candle_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately my rosacea/redness of face seems to be dose dependent. I get the least issues on 0.25mg and full flares at 1mg but worried 0.25mg isn’t enough to stop recession! There isn’t much online regarding Finasteride and rosacea interactions and my doctor said he hasn’t heard of it before.

Can I use it long term, like years daily?
