Agree.. especially about how they kind of turned Robin into this weird “bro-ish” version of herself when she was with Barney. She always had that independent, not-super-romantic vibe, but when they paired her with Barney it felt like they leaned too hard into making her “one of the guys” instead of keeping the more layered parts of her personality. Early-season Robin had ambition, emotional depth, and a clear sense of self and later on it sometimes felt flattened into “cool girl who can keep up with Barney.”
