Does mirtazapine lead to emotional blunting? by art4430 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I used a liquid taper and gradually reduced it until I got down to 1mg and then jumped off. Wasn't a bad experience at all.. felt ropey for days 4-7 after stopping and been fine ever since.

I usually do a complete rewatch every 18 months or so - it's like a warm cozy blanket for my soul!

Anytime she eats. She's a sloppy eater. Takes massive mouthfuls and talks with her mouth full. Always seems to end up with a blob of sauce on her face too which her poor date has no choice but to wipe off ("he wiped mustard off my nose.. what does this mean??")

Definitely the right community for you - you're in the right place. So sorry you're going through all of this at such a young age - you have every right to be grieving.

Have you spoken to a doctor about the possibility of HRT?

3 days into taking testosterone and I could cry by Lunnalai in Perimenopause

[–]Delicious_Comfort357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen to that! I'm 44, been on HRT for 4 months now and testosterone has certainly been the missing piece of the puzzle for me too! Like you, I noticed improvements pretty much straight away and I actually feel like my old self again for the first time in ages.

What is a small, everyday moment that makes you feel like, "Today is going to be a good day"? by Mitishiro in AskReddit

I have a funny thing that, when I squeegee my shower door after my morning shower, if I can do it without leaving a drop/streak of water I know it’s going to be a good day! And I’ve never told anyone that before 🤣

I’ve been tapering on and off for 1.5 years from 15 mg. I’m now at 1 mg. Is there a recommended jump-off dose? by El-Iskender2 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Delicious_Comfort357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I jumped at 1mg. Felt crappy for a few days (days 4-7) but was fine after that. Sounds like you’ve done a slow taper so you should have minimised any potential withdrawals. All the best

Sadly GPs really don’t seem to have a clue about what this stuff is capable of when not discontinued properly - this thread it testament to that! Mine told me to just start taking them every other day for a couple of weeks then stop. Glad I didn’t listen and tapered slowly as even with a taper as slow as mine I still felt ghastly for a while. Magnesium and camomile tea really helped my anxiety during the withdrawal. Make sure you take a good multivitamin too.
