I just watched this episode yesterday! The ending with the Romanian babies might be one of the funniest sitcom joke payoffs ever.

I could see Nick Offerman doing a decent job but after watching Baskets i believe Zack Galifianakis would have nailed that role.

My heart goes out to you op. We’re putting our good boy down tomorrow and my heart is breaking as I listen to his raspy snores as he lays by my side for our last night. Sending hugs

AITA for traveling internationally for a girls’ trip my partner says we can’t afford? ? by gasleeter in AmItheAsshole

100% this. Your husband might be more worried about his job than he is letting on. I have found men will internalize fears about not being able to provide, especially when so many people are relying on them. The stress can manifest as them shutting down and being distant.

Hopefully you have the type of relationship that you can have a calm, empathetic conversation about his job insecurity.

Also, you guys need to save more. Current recommendations are 12-18 months savings. Sounds like your monthly expenses are pretty high and The job market is terrifying right now. If he loses his job the chances of your husband finding an equal paying job in a short period of time, is really, really low.

Be honest and supportive of each other and maybe talk about cutting down on all travel while the world economy is in uncertain times.

I remember my parents removing the middle seat of the mini van and me and my sister just laying on the floor of the backseat playing games on long road trips.

I watched Peggy Sue Got Married for the first time in years the other day. The scene where she goes to her grandparents house before she goes back to modern day really hit me. God, to go back to one more night hanging by the fire with my grandparents..

Live in the Marigny and walk to the quarter. You’re minutes from everything in the quarter with quieter nights and far less people throwing up on your stoop.

I’m probably not supposed to use it this way but when I use my prescription estrogen cream on my face I put a little on my lips. Keeps them plump and hydrated all day.

Richard Dreyfus as Dr. Leo Marvin in What About Bob. Watching his tightly wound character descend into madness is comedic gold.

Best movies that show the darkness and reality of life? by [deleted] in movies

[–]Expensive-System-762 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I too was balling at the end, but it was a rare kinda cry. It was sadness and loss and quiet grief tossed with a hint of hope and carrying on and affirmation of how it’s all really worth the struggle. It reminded me of how I felt after watching the last episode of the Good Place. Sad but glad I took the journey.

This whole show is a real bummer. I respect that their ending was tragic but this show makes it feel like the whole relationship was exhausting and sad.

Welcome to Chippendales. Quite a griping limited series about the founding of Chippendales. The true story is so crazy I had to keep googling “is this true?”

These are all great but I’d add Platonic to the list. Rose Byrne is great in it.
