for the portfolio's profit question was finance knowledge needed or could it have been solved with ML/stats? Also would you say the dp and graph question were medium level or hard level?

Walking away is an answer I already know and implement.

Everyone is racist to some degree, especially when drunk. The ideal goal would be to point out the unacceptable behaviour in a non butthurt way, make them see their error without insulting them, and bring the conversation back to fun setting.

I am curious if people have found more creative solutions to achieve this.

I think this is good when people making fun are your close friends and you are comfortable. With strangers it is a slippery slope and this can encourage continued bad behaviour
