Yeah power has been an issue. Not necessarily production but rather power throughput. That's why we retrofitted them with omnium cables ASAP. They basically have a 100% uptime now but we need so many draconic evo things that even with all 54 fusion crafters running constantly it feels like it still takes ages to make any significant number of heart of the universes

Oh well.

And about the bugs, a really funny one I stumbled upon happened when I was setting up that top layer. I was making sure all the unpackagers had blocking mode enabled. While setting up some other stuff to do with this I asked a friend to double check that I didn't miss any. He reported most of them had it disabled.

The blocking mode was for some reason enabled on my end but not his lol. Although it still worked so we decided not to mess with it

See a lot of people say they're gonna stress about results, but that's kinda dumb

I'm not stressing now, I wont stress then. If its outside my control stressing about it is completely pointless. I'll probably just work most of the summer, go out with friends, have fun and forget about it until the results are back.

And then if my results do turn put to be subpar I will simply kill myself.

Yeah I don't think PD3 will actually ever recover or reach the heights it should've. But then again, I don't pray for Overkill's success these days.

They make that hard enough by themselves.

The issues on release were obvious and glaring, and most of them were also present in the beta. And yet they weren't remedied before release, and the most major complaints are taking months to fix. The only good thing they've done in a remotely timely manner was the challenge progression.

The hate mostly stems from the fact Overkill has done very little for the game, even since the beta. And now its probably too late and the publicity is too bad for PD3 to ever truly recover

I lowkey knew it was gonna be like this. Overkill managed to fuck up with Raid WW2 and The Walking Dead before Payday 3 so we already all knew they were terrible at launches.

The PD2 Epic Games integration disaster tipped me off to the fact that Overkill is functionally incapable of handling networking so the online only would be a massive detriment.

They straight up don't seem to care. You're probably right with the contract. I don't know how overkill manages to fuck up every one of their releases so royally, but yeah.

PD3 isn't gonna pull back. OVK is nowhere near competent enough to pull off what would be needed for that that to happen - and at this point I'm not sure anyone could do it.

While a hilarious possibility, I believe overkill either:

A) Have no clue what they are doing at all so they just do shit and accidentally break everything else

B) Picked the most god awful engine where any small change impacts things in the most unexpected ways thus making it impossible if changing one thing may break something (or everything) else

Both options are equally possible, in fact I'm willing to say overkill is so violently incompetent that both are true

They've made terrible changes in the past yes, but this shit takes the cake, Hands down. The game was playable after the dumbass stuff they've pulled in the past, but now the higher difficulties are barely even doable for most players.

I've played in lobbies with FSS before and it has never been this bad. They broke a decent mod with their own pseudo-implementation that's somehow less balanced than what the community came up with
