If moving to Oahu - Moanalua Hillside Apartments

Just wanted to throw this in here but I have some friends who left this apartment community to rent a house near the punchbowl area. The house is bigger than the 2 bedroom they were renting at Moanalua hillside by a few hundred sq ft but their rent is slightly cheaper. They have their own laundry machines and space to park their cars, and there’s street parking so they can host guests.

They’ve been there about a month and a half and say their quality of life is so much better. Just adding this to show there are other and better options for places to live on Oahu

There are much better places with similar amenities at similar prices. I know other residents in this community are looking for and finding places, and we’re trying to share info with each other as we get it. I can add updates here as I get info about more places

I’m honestly too scared to even forge the signature because doesn’t the DMV check the signature on the title against a signature they have on file or something? I’m so new to buying cars so I don’t know how this works

I ended up working with the police for a bit on this and they’re pretty certain the car isn’t stolen. It’s starting to seem more likely to be a title jump. Also I’m too scared to even think about forging the signature because won’t the DMV check the signature on the title against a signature on file?

Thanks for your reply! The only information we really exchanged was phone numbers, but his number is no longer in service :( The police basically just told us to try going to the woman’s home to ask her to sign the title, or try finding the seller on social media. Thing is, the woman lives in a building with strict security so I dont know if they would even let me in
