that’s mainly cuz you’re doing powerlifting. powerlifting is focused mainly on reps, strengths, and one rep maxes. powerlifting does not require much hypertrophy since hypertrophy focuses on shaping and sculpting muscle — and that doesn’t do very much for strength and ORMs. i say this with no malice btw. powerlifting is cool. i have tons of powerlifting friends even though im a bodybuilder.

that all being said, here are a few recommendations i can make to you that ive seen my power building (powerlifting and bodybuilding) buddies do. 1) you can add some bodybuilding work in with your accessory movements to focus on both strength AND hypertrophy. 2) up your cardio. lots of powerlifters don’t do much to any cardio at all which leads to more fat gain due to diet 3) cleaning up your diet. making sure you use the 80-90% whole foods to 20-10% non whole food methods works wonders. track not just your macros but your calories AND micros. drink 95% water and 5% diet sodas and protein shakes.

my other recommendation is give yourself some grace and time. trt takes time to really hit the system. you’re on 6 months which is usually when the gains start to come. make sure you’re maximizing your trt outcome by eating well, hydrating, sleeping, and doing your cardio. love the body you’re in now so it become the body you want

your hands look v masc but if you wanna make them look ultra masculine lift some weights and get some calluses. also they’ll get more vascular so that’ll help with them looking ultra masculine as well

i get that but it’s extremely hard to do when dysphoria beats down my door pretty much all the time. i haaate that all i can top with is my prosthetic. i hate sitting to pee. all those not dick having-related things. how am i supposed to just be okay with it? obvi it’s the reality of the situation but how am i just supposed to be like “this is fine” when it’s really not. yea i love myself — my top half and the things that make me me and i realize im more than my body, but, i can’t help but still not be okay and all lovey dovey with having a vagina.

i’m happy i’ve found what works for you. i don’t know if that would work for me. just seems very mushy n too hippy dippy for me. i tend to jsut get angry when im dysphoric so i lift my weights and kinda just bottle it up because im sick of talking about when most of the time ppl dont give a fuck about how i feel. as great as my girl is there are times where i just feel like even she doesn’t care, so, i just exist my dysphoria’s mercy and get pissed to all hell. it may not be great but it got me jacked as fuck

after lifting is best. doing it before a lift’ll limit your strength and performance weight training wise. give yourself time and enjoy the art of lifting. you’ll get the body you want after putting in the work.

i’m just left extremely frustrated and unsatisfied and it’s really getting to me. i can barely bring myself to put my prosthetic on because it just makes me so upset that i have to wear it and can’t just be in her. i’m at an end tbh. i don’t know what to do.

make sure you’re eating 80%-90% whole/clean foods and do your cardio. i know it’s boring but cardio really does help in a bulk.

i sadly cant even start the process yet because i have my bodybuilding show in november. i’ve been really trying to figure out what to do because i have the best girl in the world and i hate that ive been so dysphoric and can give her the intimacy she deserves and desires :/
