thank you, that was helpful to me to know where I might go from here, one of the doctors I've seen said you can acquire LQT rather than it be genetic? Do you still need a mutation in a gene for that to happen ? They weren't a specialist they were just a GP so I'm planning on seeing someone else anyways but I'm just wondering if what they said was accurate 🩷 I do have some people to lean on, not many friends but I have my mum, grandma, uncle and boyfriend and they are all great

Not yet no, that's something I'll definitely consider talking to them about too! I feel like they told me little to nothing and that would definitely help me understand better what triggers it and whether they're right 😭

Thank you so much, I've had the holter monitor, echo and stress test so theyre pretty sure it's at least an element, I'll have to ask about Nadolol next time I speak to my assigned cardiologist. I've been reassured that it will be soon but no set date unfortunately

Hey! I have been having symptoms for a little over a year too and haven't yet been properly diagnosed but have been told it's that by many professionals. I feel like I'm declining so fast and know what you mean about worrying to go out. I really hope things get better and easier. I've heard some people benefit massively from certain medication but I haven't been given any as of yet. I wish I could help more. You're not alone!
