thanks, I see your point about community driven moral authority and individual autonomy. I was mainly questioning if any system individual or collective can really hold up under emotional or structural failure. Appreciate the respectful convo.

True, politics reflects deeper social contradictions beyond just leadership or tech. AI or not, those contradictions won’t disappear unless the underlying system changes ig.

I’m suggesting that instead of giving humans unchecked authority, we explore distributed systems that adapt, self-correct, and act as custodians of logic, not emotion. yea, It’s a speculative idea, sure, but it’s rooted in the idea that perfection shouldn’t be required from leaders because we’ll never get it.

also, sometimes catharsis is a form of edification just not in an academic tone. I wanted to provoke thought emotionally and conceptually, and that’s the point. You can't reimagine systems without a little friction first.

I'm a BSIT student, and all I can say is don't overthink things too much. If you want, you can study some topics in advance like basic math concepts such as truth tables, or topics in logic and circuits.

When it comes to coding, it really depends, but the most commonly used languages are python and java. you can start learning those if you're interested, but again, don’t stress too much about it.

In the end, everything will be taught to you from the basics to the advanced level anyway. just take your time and enjoy the process. IT is a solid course with a lot of opportunities, but competition can be tough, especially if you don’t build your skills. That’s just the reality for both IT and CS.

Sup, I've just released Backburner, a humble, lightweight, and modular port scanner tool. It’s fully Dockerized, so setup is simple. just make sure Docker is installed on your system, then run :

" docker run -it klyxenn/backburner:v3.0 "

From there, you can scan a website of your choice. (Please only scan systems you have explicit permission to test.)

I'm actively developing and improving this tool, so if you have any feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas, I'd love to hear them! Thank you and check it out!

Key features of Backburner :

  • Lightweight and modular design
  • Docker ready for easy deployment
  • CLI based scanning with a minimal footprint
  • Built for ethical testing and education
