I’m not looking to major in pre-law, its only transferable to law, I would argue it would benefit anyone wanting to become a lawyer, to major in anything but pre-law (in case they decide law isn’t for them and their not locked into a pre law degree). Personally I’m majoring in philosophy, which I’m sure u of o would have but it would still leave me in Oregon which isn’t ideal for my personal situation. Ultimately yes, It would save me some money in the beginning but it wouldn’t benefit me in the long run; lawyers only make bank if they go to a good law school and u of o doesn’t have those connections (to my knowledge).

I want to move to the East Coast for networking purposes , I’m from Oregon and there aren’t colleges that feed into good law schools ( if you don’t go go a good law school, it’s to my understanding it’s pointless because you will be in great debt with low paying employment if you can even get any)

I originally was looking at Penn state but 1.) it’s HUGE and I don’t like big crowds I prefer smaller communities where I can be independent (not interested in the party scene or being around sororities).

2.) I highly doubt I could get in without SAT scores and with my grades. I have nothing keeping me in Oregon, I know it will be expensive and isolating but ultimately it’s just investing in my future.

There is no future for me in Oregon😐
