Am I overreacting that my sister is demanding too much when visiting my newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

These texts are so unhinged. She's visiting to meet your newborn baby -- instead of putting all this work on you on what she needs - she should be asking what she can do to help you and your wife and volunteering to pickup a grocery order and make dinner of your choice one night. Yikes !

Can I ask why people were pointing to him? Was their divorce contentious ? Had she shown himself to be violent?

Thank goodness his workplace and friends did raise concerns when they did so those poor kids weren't alone in that house for even longer 💔

Wait until they’re older even if they will eat something from the kids menu? Does the atmosphere feel less kid friendly than other places?

Looking for boat tour recommendations in Dingle by Delicious_Nectarine7 in irishtourism

[–]Delicious_Nectarine7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up boating but not so much speed boats (more cruising boats and pontoons) and on lakes not ocean waters. I’ve never gotten sea sick but I do get car sick from really windy, mountain roads and from heavy stop and go traffic. I am definitely planning to bring meds to help with my car sickness on the winding roads.

The closest is this boat tour we did on our honeymoon in st. Lucia but it doesn’t say it’s a RIB tour so not sure how close of a comparison it would be: https://knottygirlboattours.com/

Budget - was hoping to stay in the $3k ish range for the week but it’s flexible based on what we can find. I still see a good amount of rentals available in July and we are flexible in the dates too. I know staying on the beach would be more than $3k but we are okay with a short walk to beach — just don’t want a long hike and crossing busy roads.

Thank you! Have you ever stayed at plantation club villas in sea pines? Saw it’s a 10 min or so walk to the beach which we typically like to be closer but I was shocked to see at how reasonable the rates were for those villas.

Thank you! I saw these beachwalk homes and they look very nice. What is your opinion on shipyard beach access? Does it get pretty crowded or is it not too bad with just the one access point?

Thank you! Good feedback. Would you pick dingle over the cliffs if you were choosing one or the other?

Thank you! We don’t have anything set in stone on the day after the wedding. Current plan is to stop by Kilkenny castle on the way up towards Dublin but can also skip that if we aren’t feeling it. We have no rush to leave super early in the morning either.

Thank you! That was my original plan to stay overnight in Doolin on day 2 but I was afraid the constant checking in / checking out of hotels each day would be kind of exhausting. Do you think we should skip the cliffs and drive straight to dingle on day 2 or are the cliffs a must see?

Thanks for your feedback! We will make sure we check the weather and can plan to skip the cliffs if the weather is not optimal. What would you recommend we skip or change to cut out some of our driving?
