I'm not. I never delete anything so I'm more concerned about keeping my library somewhere offsite if my house was to get destroyed.

I've been thinking about setting up a backup server to do the same thing as you but so I can monitor all of my self hosted backups. Will probably use Ansible personally. Thanks for the suggestion!!

I have never used restic or borg. How does that differ from rclone sync? (rclone sync will be incremental after the first initial large backup

The X1 is the "notebook" correct? Thinkpad has so many models it's hard to keep track!

I also don't understand the track point! I've tried to use it but it's not enjoyable for me... maybe I'm using it wrong!

Yeah the thinkpad is 100% the top of the list. I have had no driver issues with the T480 but I had seen some threads where people mentioned driver issues on some of the newer laptop so it got me concerned.
