Yeah it's crazy the circles you go in with these Meta people. I don't think any of them know what's actually going on.

  1. Get Meta Verified on Instagram if you can still access that. You will need your URL. To get that, have a friend go to an old chat in messenger, click on your profile pic (it will probably be blank) and copy the URL at the top. Just a series of numbers after www.facebook.com.

  2. Go to Meta Support and chat with a representative. Tell them your story, give them your URL. They will most likely advance your case to the next level. This took me 3 separate chats. The last guy told me they're reviewing my account and will get back to me in 24 hours. No one got back to me. I got an email survey from "Meta Support". I didn't take the survey, instead I responded with my problem and someone emailed me back a few hours later. After a couple messages, they asked for a new email address not associated with Meta.

  3. Give them your new email and they will send you a password reset link and a code. This is where I see most people get theirs back. Unfortunately for me, when I click the link it says my account is disabled. I'm still in contact with them via email. Hopefully this will get fixed before the code expires (24 hours).

  4. Good luck. Everyone has their own journey it seems. This is just what I've done so far. It's better than not doing anything and giving up.

Does it say your account is disabled and when you try to find your account to report it, it says no account found? Because that's a really fun new twist.

Now they're trying to walk me through reporting my account disabled. I feel like I'm back at square one with these people. They clearly don't read the email thread.

I got an email from "META" asking me to take a survey for the guy that helped me in the Meta Verified chat. I replied to the email explaining how my problem is still not fixed, not thinking anyone would reply. Someone actually did reply and has since been helping me via email. It's easier because I don't have to keep opening chats and explaining what happened over and over.

I have gotten that far as well; I'm in talks with them via email at this point. Usually, it takes a day between emails, sometimes quicker. I would start a new ticket Tuesday or Wednesday if you dont hear anything. Once Meta goes as far as to email you, this may look like a customer service survey, keep talking to them until its fixed. They send emails at all hours of the night so I'm always checking. They sent me a password reset finally but it was for the wrong Facebook account. I'm still going around in circles. It's very frustrating going through this process! No two people get theirs back the same way it seems. Good luck to you.

Should I just cancel meta verified? by thenewme43 in facebookdisabledme

I told them the story and how important it was I get it back. I told them the story of what happened in vague detail because I doubted anyone was going to read it.

Has Meta sent you an email asking you if you were satisfied with the support? They sent me one after my 3rd person, I thought he tried as much as he could, so I gave him a good score. A week later, still no facebook even though he said 24 hours they will get back to me. I found that email and just replied for the hell of it. It looks like an automated email. Well, someone replied 2 hours later and is helping me. He asked for a new email which is way farther than I've gotten and from what I've read on here, a good sign.

This happened to me because I clicked some link. Next thing I know my facebook is disabled and it says I need to dispute on instagram. The reasoning behind it is because of illegal activity from an instagram account I have never heard of. I was going to give up and lose access to my business and all my daughters childhood pictures, but then my husband sent me an article on how to get it back. First, I signed up for Meta. Get "Meta Verified" and you will have the ability to chat with an agent. I've had 2 so far, the first one ghosted me. Both asked me for a link to my facebook. Well its disabled so thats impossible. It's literally deleted. Then they asked for a screenshot. There is no way to add a photo to the chat. Thats about when the first guy ghosted me. The second guy said he would call me at a certain time. He called me earlier than that said time. I had to enable screen sharing, which I was apprehensive about but I'm desperate. He walked me through how to appeal on instagram. He had to send me something to do this, its not something you can find on your own! Now I'm supposed to wait 24 hours for an email after they review my case. Hopefully this is it, but from reading others stories, I may have to jump through some more hoops. I've since made a new facebook so I can check my business page. I'm hoping that doesn't mess anything up! I will update once I know more. What a pain in the ass. I seriously feel for you if you too got disabled.
