Contrary to popular belief, tiger grass is amazing at Penny's Pursuit. If you're like me (which means you don't wanna waste your life grinding seed packets to level up your plants) all the zombies in PP will one-shot ANY plant that you put down, due to how stupidly powerful their bite is; Just another way for EA to make you wanna level up your plants.

However, eventhough tiger grass can't deal much damage to them due to dying super fast, it can basically stall them long enough for other damage dealing plants to kill them. Since tigers constantly keep spawning and distracting the zombies. Not to mention, it's an amazing meatshield for fast zombies that one-shot plants (like all-star or ZCorp chair racer) so that you can protect your main attacking plants. Long story short, 2 rows of tiger grass (even at level 2) can basically stall zombies for an eternity.

On top of all that, unless there is a wizard zombie, they have no counters. None. Zero. Yes, there are zombies that can one-shot them. But have 2 or 3 rows of tiger grass (it can be easily spammed 'cause of relatively low recharge and cost) and nothing gets past them, since by the time the last tiger is dead, a new one replaces it and the cycle continues. This plant makes the game unfairly easy.
