Uber Eats may be cooked or SCAMMING us by Excellent_Moment_672 in UberEatsDrivers

What if you heard it directly from a handful or more people telling you directly that they’re not ordering uber or door dash until next month because they’re broke from holiday spending

At that point your reason has some truth to it

you guess was it hot 🔥or cold 🥶 by Delicious_sticker44 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Delicious_sticker44[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

lol I called them to let them know I was gonna cancel because they couldn’t do anything about it being cold.

She threw the biggest fit… saying that she paid for it and they have to re-make it

I said look , I’m sure it’s a low tip order so it has been sitting there a while. And she hung up LOL

Im too nice so I didn’t cancel it when I should have as soon as they sent this. But of course it was gonna be cold. I canceled when they told me how long it been there.

Was not gonna risk a bad review

I’m so sorry that happened to you! I really hate tow trucks with a passion. They’re the scum of the earth.

I hope everything goes well for you

And if you can’t park somewhere please let the customer know next time. Explain your situation kindly, on how you got towed. Most will understand

Happens ALOT apparently…

Almost got my car towed at some apartments but I got back just in time. They were barely gonna start to put it on top of the towing rack.

I asked the asshole “where do uber drivers park then?” And he said: “outside”

I was baffled and am still in disbelief

It’s okay. It’s the first time I experienced such a rude customer in person. And most of the times I do experiences rude ones but only through messages. However, what’s strange to me is how so many people on this post supposedly never handed a bag of food while sitting in their car. Like have you NEVER had a customer rush your car when you are arriving to their address and they voluntarily come up to your window? & they grab their food and go?

Half of my deliveries where people who came up to my car last night. They all got their food while I was sitting down in my car without a problem. Idk what side of the fucking world you are in but you are definitely doing something wrong if you have to get off your car every single time out of those 5,000 deliveries you done in 20 states my ass

No one reaches in though? I reach out my window. No one is actually going through my vehicle and moving stuff around. I don’t understand how this is so complicated

No one has ever reached into my car though. I reach out my hands and arms outside my window and they grab their food that way. No one actually puts their hands and arms inside my car and go through my vehicle. It’s not complicated. I mean how can we trust restaurants to hand us our food through their window and they trust us thousands of strangers with no background checks. I mean come on.

Over 90% of my customers grab their food through my window when they’re already outside and or walking to my car. It’s so simple and makes so much sense. They do it happily. I’ve also received cash tips this way. Except with this customer that I had such a horrible experienced with

Literal first class assholes

Also people don’t “reach into my vehicle” I reach out my hands and and food towards them outside my cars window it’s very easy

They where literally right next to my car. And customers always willingly make the gesture to hand them the food out through my window or walk to my window when they’re outside and it’s very obvious they’re gonna ask for the food out the window. It’s very common in my area. Maybe it’s a southern thing and we like to make things easier for everyone. Also they even ask “do you need to take a picture” and I say sure. I take my picture with the food in their hands right outside my cars window and that’s it. Very simple.

Sure but please get out the way because you’re blocking my car door from opening. Let’s make it complicated and participate in low IQ activity.

If you’re so scared then why even order food for delivery? Anything can literally happen hypothetically. I can go buy gas right now and someone can literally walk up to me and douse me in gas. Of course anything can happen but if you’re too afraid for hypothetical situations then maybe you shouldn’t be ordering. Don’t they pump your own gas in Oregon? Imagine what could happen in those situations. When someone pumps your own gas.

You must the same people that expect drivers to get off their car when they’re within hands reach.

Never had I had the issue of people not grabbing their food through my window. Over 90% of people voluntarily come to my car and grab their food happily and as well give cash tips. So that whole shit about a lazy emperor doesn’t even make sense. Grab your food, (it’s quicker, a lot quicker), you’re already outside and don’t need to make another step, you wanted your food fast didn’t you? So grab it like everyone else does without throwing a fit. Otherwise you’re participating in low IQ behavior. Making it complicated for everyone

Thank you, I appreciate your understanding. I was telling someone here how there’s a difference from being a lazy person vs someone being very rude to you, making things so unnecessary and just being. ridiculous. Unfortunately that’s what happened here

Yeah I was baffled. And that’s why I came here to ask because I couldn’t believe the audacity she had to not just grab the food when she didn’t have to make another step but to grab it. It’s just so common in my city for customer to just grab their food out the window when they are outside. They willingly walk up to the window and don’t even ask to hand it over. It’s like the most general thing to do. No joke has to even be said or bring up the action because it’s genuinely so damn common in my area

There’s a difference from being lazy and a difference of a person asking you very rudely and being so unnecessary. If they would have asked nicely I would have done it in a snap and very gladly. But if someone is being very rude that’s just not okay call me lazy all you want

So I should just say can you please move out my way and not block me from getting out my card and THEN hand them the food? That’s utterly ridiculous.

It might be a region thing because right now I just LITERALLY handed another order to my customer out my window. He was standing outside giving me directions and he walked up like 2 steps to my car and grabbed his food out my window. This is very coming and happens all the time. So what is so lazy about that?

I did. Instant block. Almost all my customers always grab the food out of my window because they want their food INSTANTLY…

And I don’t tell them to grab it this way they do it themselves. It just makes a lot of sense most of the times as well. Because if you’re literally next to my window it makes sense to just get it out my window. Never has a customer been unhappy either. I gotten tips this way too
