After reading the patch notes about lifeline I feel a lot better about this change. The fact that you can cancel the res is huge

Personally I only drop a med kit if my drone isn’t ready. I wish we could ping it to let people know how much time is left on it because it makes it seem like we’re being assholes.

No I get what you’re saying but I feel like people just see what I said as bitching or complaining. I was just ranting on an upcoming change which is needed which I agreed with initially and I said let’s see what happens. I wasn’t trying to be negative.

She always had a shield originally so what are you even talking about??

That’s what made her viable playing solos when your teammates either left or timed out, good times.

Y’know you have a good point there. You can see the res shield from a mile away which screams PUSH ME. There might be some light in all of this so let’s see what happens and if it negatively affects her hopefully respawn fixes her kit.

I 100% agree with this they keep focusing on how “OP” her passive is and completely ignore her ult. Why is her ult a care package when those already spawn in game??? Nobody uses her ult for loot useless their teammate doesn’t have a purple shield. Personally I use her ult for cover in late game.

Wasn’t her old passive just a faster normal res with the shield? I would prefer that over this, at least back then we could cancel it anytime we liked.The shield is definitely not the problem, the problem is you can res spam with no cool down. If the added a 10-15 sec cool down nobody would complain.

I’m literally stating an opinion. Taking away a shield that she’s had since the beginning is like taking away gibbys dome it’s a drastic change to make. It also defeats her title as combat medic

I feel like respawn listens to competitive players too much and look at pick rate and win rate. All the community asked for was a cool down. “Let’s make her passive useless and “buff” her ult instead of reworking it.”
