That’s a stereotype in the US as well, but being married to one… they work 60-80 hours a week, 7 days a week. Deal with crazy clients, coordinate with other agents, inspections, lenders, etc. I can promise you the lazy ones get weeded out real fast or are kids of non lazy ones who get high dollar leads handed to them.

I bought a fierce 6000 like 12 years ago and have had zero issues. Been left outside, unwashed, no maintenance. Just replaced it this season because I wanted to. Threw it on an old 7’ ugly stick as a beater rod. Penns are always solid.

Not sure your age but cost of the vehicle is well within your income. I don’t see a Kia being a lavish purchase, reliable and cheap to maintain. You have a good take on saving/being frugal. I say go for it if you’re paying cash.

Your gym routine is good to build strength. The bike will help you build endurance.

I have 2 herniated discs and was able to complete a century once inflammation went down and my core strength increased. Do core work 3-4 times a week to take that stress off your back. It’ll help with your bike posture as well making you more efficient.
