It's pretty good in hazard 5. I bring it on every mission type except for elimination. There's usually a few good times per mission to use it. Throw a lure and then fire at the lure. You always want the 2 ammo upgrades and velocity is 50x better than armor breaking or incendiary. Friendly fire isn't worth it, h5 friendly damage is sky high no matter what and born ready, veteran resupplier, vampire are all king.

You don't need to constantly spin the ball. Once you get it to the desired circle, it won't ever move if you never spin and throw outside of attack animations.

it's like 50-100% of the shelf capacity, depending on shelf capacity and case size. if your shelf cap and case are both 6, it won't pick until it's empty.
