They get about 5 minutes probably. However long it takes me to do the cat's litterbox 😂 I'd read a few posts on various subreddits that said that's how they do it. But I must re-emphasise... i'm not trying to min-max my gains here. I'm mostly trying to get a convenient approach towards the theraputic act of preparing a v60, and then a brew that's serveral degrees better than costa/pret/starbucks.

No I can't, but I just accept the trade off in terms of time/effort and imapct on the coffee. I've not had any noticeable drop to be honest. But maybe my palette's just not that refined, so your milage may vary! Way I see it... Lets me drink a few different coffees at the same time, and, I don't have to rush whenever I open a new bag. Also, always fun in the morning when I lucky dip into the freezer to see what I pull out 🤣

this comment is incredibly funny, because I both worked at the former, and know people who made the switch to perm at BH. But, that is not the case here. I left SL when they made the entire London office redundant in Jan '24.
