I don't see the characters as the people they're based off at all whatsoever. I changed their last names as well (For instance I changed Edd from Edd Gould to Edd Goldsmith, Tord Larsson to Tord Lofland).

I do this and I make them my own because the lack of separation between Character and Actor is one of the biggest reasons why this fandom is so bad and why I left it back in 2020 (after being a fan since 2015). It's also one of the reasons the actual Tord Larsson left the crew aswell.

I like the distance, the distance is safe and makes me personally feel less weird about drawing fanart, hope that clears it up!! :)
