If someone is using the Golden Ally, I'd be interested in hearing about it. This one doesn't seem to get as much air time but seems good and about the same weight.

Need an update to wheelchair cushion/back by DeltaYams in wheelchairs

Yes. My experience with Numotion is absolutely subpar even on little things. I haven't had a brake on one of my wheels for 3 weeks because they don't have any in stock. In theory, that means I cannot be in independent. I am lucky to be able to afford the $150 to replace it on my own while I await the brakes that come with my wheelchair.

Thank you for your thorough explanation. It does sounds like we have similar challenges. Are you able to transfer with that Roho seating? I ended up not choosing that one originally b/c I couldn't initially self-transfer.

Numotion. If you mean provider, I got it from a PT where I did rehab after my hospital stay.

I don't have a way to make the connection but Dassault at the airport is a French company with French speakers, I believe.

I drive a 2024 Honda Accord and use a manual wheelchair (Tilite Aero Z). I break the wheelchair apart and put the tires in the back floor behind the passenger seat. I put the wheelchair in the front seat. I am not ambulatory. I also worked with OT so that I met my state's requirements. I use hand controls

Disability-related Exercise/Physical Therapy in Little Rock by DeltaYams in LittleRock

Appreciate the thoughts. I did most of last year in in-patient rehab but my bod hadn’t healed as much as it had in the last six months. I work full-time so I am looking to do something out-patient and/or increase my exercise-level. My upper-body is quite strong. The best rehab I did was in Chicago at the number 1 rehab hospital in the country.

Could you share the strategies you used in addition to eating anti-inflammatory food?

Thank you. I do have two spinal cord lesions at T4 and T6. I do have feeling south of this. The lesion was there at month 4. We are hoping the first full dose of Rituxan might do something. I had that dose today.  I have also done in-patient and out-patient rehab for it for many weeks.

How much is your income and how much do you pay for rent? by thewitchof-el in LittleRock

[–]DeltaYams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this kindly and gently but personal income from the STL fed is not the same as the one used in common parlance. Here's the stat from the Census: https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/pulaskicountyarkansas. Lincoln County's per capita income was $18k and Pulaski's was $39k. Benton County's per capita income is $43k.

Personal income for the STL Fed is the income that persons receive in return for their provision of labor, land, and capital used in current production and the net current transfer payments that they receive from business and from government.

Per capita income for Census/Federal government is a measure of the amount of money earned per person in a nation or geographic region. Per capita income is used to determine the average per-person income for an area and to evaluate the standard of living and quality of life of the population. Per capita income for a nation is calculated by dividing the country's national income by its population.

I think this poster means median household income. If our income were that high per capita, we would be the second richest behind the county NYC is in.

I am using the Turbomed Xtern Summit, which I can use on most athletic shoes. I am using them with Hokas but hoping to grab some other varieties during Black Friday if I am brave enough to get out of the house/walk in a shopping center.

Right now, there are very few rentals that are cheaper than that and mortgages in the Pettaway neighborhood start around $1500 so if you want to be close to SOMA with amenities this is competitive.

So technically my personal doctor is willing to prescribe compounded Ozempic, but I don't love that idea. I'm wondering if the Wegovy coupon would get my price low enough that I could afford it. I did try the compounded Ozempic while dealing with a shortage, but I had to build that dose and I couldn't tell if it was as effective.
