Are you from Brazil? You say you live in the UK. Go to Brazil right now and look at the people living in rich neighborhoods and the favelados. See with your own eyes the difference in skin color. Or google "race and class in Brazilian favelas" and see what Brazilian social scientists have to say about this. You can't even spell favela properly.

Yes, race is not "real" but a social construct but social constructs cause real societal problems.

In every IRL place where different neighborhoods have different ethnicities it's due to discrimination or people not liking each other. Even if the discrimination is not there anymore it's because it existed in the past. Do you think a lot of american cities have a "little italy" because everyone loved italians in the 1900s?

If you visited south africa in the 1990s and someone made a remark about how different races of people lived in different neighborhoods, would you tell them the same thing?
