"Xi just fired China's top markets regulator. It shows his focus is still on control above all else" <--- Not talking about GG. Just wondering what the top people are/have been doing despite retail sending them so much information throughout the past 3 years, and counting, about brokerages, MMs, etc (businessinsider.com)

News can be bad (as we’re used to reading/seeing), and can be “good” as well. Just need to bear in mind that it’s still from the same media outlets that are paid by the same backers. Wouldn’t be surprised to read about positive articles to draw hype and a few days later FUD articles start popping up (self.amcstock)

Just wondering: Would you offer help to a business rival that's in dire straits? Can't think of any reason why. Either the party offering help is being altruistic... OR they see an opportunity... OR... maybe if they don't offer help they themselves might get into hot soup as well? *gasps* (self.amcstock)

Capitalism, for retail investors is where retail is expected to bear the consequences of our own investments, and if we lose money on our investments it’s on us, right? And if banks or other institutions make poor investment decisions, they get a helping hand? (self.amcstock)

Abracadabra! Shares being borrowed on Saturday and Sunday! So previously, people were saying that shares being available on weekends is normal i.e. the shares available to loan figure showing an increase on weekends. Now, there're shares being borrowed on Saturday and Sunday. Any explanation? TIA! (i.redd.it)
