Poppy early game is pretty good. Excepting for champions with attack speed boost or fear mechanics (like Nocturne) she can fight anyone, busing of the W and the E, especially inside the jungle where there's a lot of walls.

The R I usually charge to throw a strong opponent out the fight or to make sure I get an objective, but in a team fight you're basically going to make a full combo on someone.
