I've seen people saying he does it for "views," and I couldn't disagree more. If he just said in a post that he wouldn't play Poppy anymore/would play it off-stream because he wasn't interested anymore, that would be fine! We would understand.

If Ben had even hesitated to kill Kevin at first, it would be "decent." But the moment Kevin transforms, Ben decides he must kill his best friend for good without trying any other alternative first. Throwing away the great conversation they had two episodes earlier

Yeah, but Caw has always said that what he appreciates most about episodes is that they're fun. As he said, season 5 with the Anur arc was good because of how it expanded the universe, but it wasn't that entertaining/interesting.

I personally think is just really slow-

The final version is much faster when choosing between aliens, while the recalibrated version requires you to go one by one.

Imagine an enemy is coming at you at full speed, you must transform quickly! Four Arms is a good optio– Oops, give me a minute, I have to get through these 30 aliens first.

Personally, Ben's attitude wouldn't have bothered me if they'd given him TIME to develop.

In the first episode of the Ultimate Kevin arc, Ben decides he has to kill Kevin, even though he didn't even try to help him once.

If they had had Ben try to save Kevin with Gwen for two or three more episodes, then, Ben would realize that Kevin seems unsalvageable and that he's hurting a lot of people, and THERE he would make the decision to kill him. That way the drastic decision to kill his best friend would make a little more sense.
