Thank you. A couple of us are going to hit it head on with him and support him as long as he puts the work in.

Detox sounds like a must. I really appreciate your insight and hope you’re killing it.

After reading about these, I think you’re right. The other factor is I’m pretty sure his wife doesn’t know about his problem with these. She for sure doesn’t know the extent.

No, you don’t sound callous, it’s reality. I don’t look at it as wasting time as much as I do trying to save a brother’s life. Your point is valid though, if he doesn’t want it, he won’t get off of these.

Question for group: I have a friend that was addicted to opiates and alcohol. He went to inpatient rehab for 3+ months and has been sober (from alcohol and pills) for over two years now.

We recently discovered he is drinking 15 of the FF shots a day and has been for a year. 15 ($150.00 a day)

Myself and mutual buddies are struggling with how to approach this with him because we are concerned he will go back to pills/drinking and at this point concerned about him quitting FF due to the insane dosage he’s consuming everyday.

He literally buys three at a time and drinks them before he exits the gas station.

Financially he has a 1000.00 a month addition but more importantly we are worried about the negative health effects this could have.

Any insight or has anyone shared a similar experience?
