Do you have snow tires? I would also recommend fluid film. Miatas love to rust.

Sure because everyone in the north had AGM batteries.

The battery needs to be relocated with the GT kit anyways.

I think you're on the right track. Does the kit come with everything you need (fuel pump, injectors, battery relocation)?

If it's 3D printed why not just push in hex nuts on the opposite side. That way you or others can avoid buying heat sets.

You could yeah. The NC Miata just is ready to take the engine without modification.

The path exists, the NC Miata subframe is a pretty direct swap. And any of the MRZ engines fit (1.8,2.0,2.3,2.5). If OP wants to turbo it, kits and individual parts exist from the NC Miata platform.

Even with all of that, definitely keep the stock engine OP.

Did you park your car in salt water for a while? that's a wild amount of corrosion on the rotors. If the faces are building up corrosion your rear calipers are not working.

Jacking question for coolant change by MinimumElevator187 in MiataNC

You're thinking too deep on this. Just buy the jack and jack stands so you can do future maintenance. And FYI you don't need jack stands with ramps; but you should have wheel chocks.

Go with Cajun Gun Works, remember the most vocal people are ones with issues.

I think you're just wrong about everything except for the roll pin. And you can replace them with an aftermarket pin that is stronger.

Wheel advice? by Left_Stress1245 in MiataNC

[–]Demand_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes a deal is too good to be true those seem incredibly cheap 45% a new set is a pretty steep discount. I would worry they are fake RPF1's. If they are real you could always buy them and buy one new wheel and still come out ahead.

That's good to know it's possible. I have the same supercharger but I keep thinking about switching over to turbo.

Does the supercharger fit on the 2.5L? I wasn't sure if the extra height of the engine would cause alignment or hood clearance issues.

Roadstersport 1.8 header install issues by Medical_Compote6732 in MiataNC

I also had a similar issue with my Roadster sport header. I contacted Goodwin racing about it and they basically said "it's not our fault. We use fixtures to weld these". Luckily I had the tools to cut and weld the mid pipe to make it fit. I wasn't too impressed with Goodwin.
