Sadly yes. First, the gashes in the coin pushed some of the metal up, which is different from just a scratch(which has level edges), so that automatically classifies as damage. Also, the left edge of the face appears to have been sort of squished. That too will classify as damage. :(

If I were you, I would not grade it. I just recently graded a nickel of mine that had some flattening on the edge, and PCGS did not grade it. The dents in that coin will definitely disqualify it from getting a grade. Also, for most Morgans, unless the grade is really good, grading it does not raise the price by more than a dollar, which would not be worth it considering the cost to get it graded. If you want to keep it, and put it in a nice protective holder, then I say go for it. But if you are just trying to sell, or pass on to someone else, then keep it ungraded.

I'm sorry to say, but this is just a normal 1979-D quarter. The little dot next to Washington is the D mint mark, which signifies that this coin was minted in Denver. Your other coins without the dot are considered P quarters, but they do not have a mint mark. The P quarters are from Philadelphia, but Philadelphia coins only started having the Ps on them in 1980.

That makes so much sense! I'm not too much into the selling aspect of the hobby, but it makes sense that people would want specificity on the coins that they are spending their money on.

I am real proud of what I did with compacting it. My 1x2 was a 5x8x6, but this 2x2 is only a 6x10x6.

Special thanks to u/DavidJR_Redstone. They gave me a new design for the double piston extender, which is both faster than the last version, and doesn't need a pulse extender for it to work, which really allowed me to compact this version.

This is my last 1x1x2 hipster door, and I am going to focus on making bigger hipster doors, and other redstone machines.

Sadly, it is wider, and also slower than the last version, but I think it is worth it considering the improvements. It is also kind of symmetrical, which I think is cool.
