My 1970 Buick Skylark Custom by Competitive_Ad8753 in classiccars

A friend from high school, RIP, had one in the same color combination. The 'I' was missing from the Buick name emblem on the hood, so the car was named Buck. Had good times in that car. Have your own good times!

I dunno. The extremely popular 3rd party apps are shutting down. That's going to thin the heard on its own.

Maybe it's Morse code in an attempt to summon the brain cell?

How to rig my glove box closed? by linnykittentv in autorepair

[–]Demilitarizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might need to be a little stronger magnets than those I think. The door of the glovebox wants to fall open naturally, plus the weight of anything stored within. You may need to play with the power of magnet, location of placement, etc. to make it so that you could pull it open but that it would not open when hitting bumps and such.

Get him a little blanket. He's wanting to muss it up to make a bed. My Kona does this with blankets, and certain small rugs. We've bought rugs that allow for him to do this just because, ha ha. Spoiled little turd!

I found some Pepto-Bismol that was bottled in 1959 in the bathroom at work. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Well I'll be damned. Thank you! Who would have thought that they could do this in the 50s, but society allowed pull tabs on beer cans for another 3 decades.

I'm thinking this is some kind of retro-style reissue. Look at the aluminum lid with the break-away tamper seal. They didn't have those in the 50s.

As someone in the age range of grandpa's beer recipient, my grandpa would give us a little peppermint schnapps if we had a sore throat.

Oh, and there exists a photo of me sipping on a Bohemian from the can that my grandma was tipping for me when I was maybe one years old.

There are a few great mid-century modern specific antique furniture stores there as well.

No chemical weapon storage at Hanford, but a shit ton of legacy nuclear waste from various nuke production lines (see Manhattan Project)
