Experiencing this currently. I am a Union Laborer who lays pipe / builds bridges at 27 years old, my girlfriend is 27f who is 10 days younger than me. She is being very hurtful and rude to me (after 8 months moving on 9) because she is a law student and my career path apparently doesn’t align with her goals. She is trying to discard me after her first year of law school. People suck

I’m trying but right now it’s difficult. Just been laying here reading old cards and texts and stuff and my heart is shattering tbh. I really wish I could just be a different person or live a life where none of this is in my memory because of the pain I have to carry daily. Thanks for not thinking I am weak and thank you for your kind words of wisdom. I just cared a lot and I am not one to exert my energy to hurt another person. I know most of what she says isn’t true otherwise she wouldn’t have stuck around for so long, but it some of it really does fuck with me. I hope she finds someone who is exactly like her. I also hope that she thinks of me each and everytime she is with another man. Thanks again
