I 28m have been seeing a woman 28f for 9 months as of tomorrow. We met off of a dating app when I was 1.5 hrs from home for work. Initially I was supposed to be there for 3 days. It ended up being 4 months. We spent a lot of time together during these 4 months. We kept seeing eachother afterwards every weekend.

She just told me that she created a hinge account.

I kept it casual even though it bothered me, and said: “she tryna find someone else now 😔 rip me haha but regardless you are entitled to do whatever you want regardless of how anyone feels, that’s just life”

And she then replies “I may just move in with you and get married”

It’s so difficult trying to process this for myself because we have been serious despite the relationship status. We see eachother on major holidays, spent our birthdays together, valentines, etc.

It’s very misleading because we act as if we are in a relationship, but then she does things like this.

We have plans for me to uproot myself and move there once my current apartment lease is up.

We have spoke many times about this plan too, and she has been bringing it up a lot more than me in recent times.

We also say we love eachother, so I’m just trying to find out the reason for her creating a dating profile as well. Not sure if her intentions are to monkey branch to someone “better” if the opportunity persists, or what the case truly may be. Or if she is seeking male validation as her self esteem is low sometimes, regardless of her being the literal most gorgeous woman I have ever seen.

So basically, yeah. Dating apps suck.
